The Technology
Lenticule-based, flap-free vision correction such as SMILE is performed at Cnect’s partner hospitals in Busan. Which laser system is used depends on the hospital and your eyes, and your coordinator confirms it before you book.

vision correction.
In SMILE, a femtosecond laser shapes a small piece of corneal tissue (a lenticule), which the surgeon removes through a small keyhole incision, without creating a flap. Whether it suits you depends on your prescription, corneal thickness and eye health, which the hospital checks before surgery.
02 · Other lenticule options
Your surgeon
recommends the method.
Some partner hospitals use other lenticule-based methods on different laser platforms. Your surgeon recommends the option that suits your eyes, and your coordinator explains the differences in plain language before you decide.
